Monday Cuppa Moment 1/4/16

Happy Monday and happy New Year, friends!

I can't believe it's already 2016, and it's less than a month until COLD SHOT releases. Be sure to keep an eye out as it may start showing up in stores over the next few weeks. If you find it, snap a photo and send it to me. Everyone who sends me an image of COLD SHOT in their local store or library will have their name put into a random generator. I'll pick one winner a week after COLD SHOT's official release and the winner will receive an autographed copy along with a bunch of fun promo goodies (COLD SHOT keepsake bookmark, bullet pen, charm bracelet, recipe card, etc). Speaking of COLD SHOT and its fabulous Chesapeake Bay location, here is a true tale of hope, right out of the Chesapeake Bay. You may know of Joni Eareckson Tada, and how as a result of a diving accident there as a teenager, she lost the use of her hands, her legs, and has endured chronic pain ever since. Yet she shares how God met her in the darkness following that accident, and in the roughest moments of life. She says: “When you’re in a dark place, when lions surround you, when you need strong help to rescue you from impossibility… You want mighty.
