Monday Cuppa Moment 1/11
Clearly I've had my coffee this morning as I'm the words-putting-into-sentence doing :)
I hope you had a great weekend! I took a few days away to work on my current work in progress--the second book in my Chesapeake Valor series. As an author, when I near deadline, I find it really helpful to 'escape' for a few days. Get away from daily distractions and just write, write, write. This time my hubby joined me (and brought his own work to do) and we stayed on a houseboat in Canton--a fun neighborhood in Baltimore right on the harbor. It was a great place to get away from it all.
On another note that ties in, I promise, my church is so supportive of me, and my worship pastor (a.k.a videographer/cameraman extraordinaire) and his awesome assistant joined us on the boat to shoot a video that we'll be sharing at church and I'll be sharing on my website in the coming weeks. We chatted about my upcoming release, COLD SHOT, about the research involved, and why I write. Keep an eye out for the video. I'll make an announcement here on my Monday Cuppa when its been posted to my Books or Fun page.
To give you a sneak peek, here are some pictures from our shoot. Thanks again, Cole and Brandon. We had a blast!
Oh, and incase you haven't seen. SUBMERGED is FREE for a limited time on ebook. Feel free to share with your friends!
Have a blessed Monday,
