Favorite Friday: Verses

With my daughter facing surgery this week for a shattered orbital bone, I found comfort in God's Word. Today I'd like to share some of my favorite comforting verses. May they fill you with God's comfort too. "God is our refuge and our strength, an ever-present help in trouble."  Psalm 46:1

"The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress." Psalm 46:11

"No one who hopes in You will ever be put to shame." Psalm 25:3 a

"As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you." Isaiah 66:13 a

"The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you or forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." Deuteronomy 31:8
