Monday Cuppa Moment 10/5

Happy Monday, friends!

I hope you had a great weekend. It was a bittersweet weekend for us. We said 'goodbye' to our pastor of close to twenty years. He's not leaving the ministry, just moving in a new direction in which God is calling him. We are so happy for him and we adore our new pastor, but having Joe there while both our girls were baptized, officiating my mother's memorial service, marrying our oldest daughter... needless to say a lot of memories there. He taught me how to study my bible, going verse by verse through the book of Romans during our Thursday morning bible study. He is someone who God used to help guide me along my faith journey and I, and my entire family, will be eternally grateful for his time, friendship and guidance.

Not to mention sharing his awesome sense of humor. Here's a great video of Joe sharing some sage wisdom with our new pastor Josh.

Can I just say how much I love these men's hearts and our church family :)
