Let’s Celebrate! My 10th Book is Here!

I’m ecstatic to announce that my latest novel—The Killing Tide—is available now!!!! It hit stands today. It’s so hard to believe that my 10th full-length novel is on shelves. For those of you unfamiliar with The Killing Tide, it features a Coast Guard Investigative Service Team. Each book in the three-book series will focus on a different member of the team. The Killing Tide is Finn Walker and Gabby Rowley’s story.

Meet Finn and Gabby

Finn is a combination of laid-back surfer meets adrenaline junkie. He lives to ride waves and to see justice done. Gabby is a go-getter who pursues truth for a living. Only when the truth hits too close to home, she tends to run. Can Finn and his deep love for her, show her that home is the best place to be—right in his arms?

In addition to spending time with characters I loved getting to know, I also spent a good deal of time researching the Coast Guard. I quickly learned that I had no idea of depth and breadth of ways its valiant members serve our country. Here are just a few amazing facts about a branch of service that often doesn’t get the recognition it deserves.

The U.S. Coast Guard says a cutter interdicted a submarine suspected of smuggling drugs in the Pacific Ocean. A video shows Coast Guard officers boarding the submarine and ordering those inside to open the hatch.
