Tennyson Kent is trapped on the isolated island of her childhood by a storm surge, and she is shocked when the typically idyllic community turns into the hunting grounds of a murderer. Cut off from any help from the mainland, will she and first love Callen Frost be able to identify and stop a killer bent on revenge before they become the next victims?
A gripping, tense story, the emotion of losing someone as close as a sister, following others in the family who had just died. Good characters in Teni and Callen as they worked together.
I am generally not a fan of Christian fiction, but I am sure a fan of Ms. Petrey. This is a great read with a good twist I didn’t see coming. It’s also not too sappy or unbelievable. I recommend it you’re interested in Christian suspense.
Whew!!!! Buckle up for a roller coaster ride from the very first page to the last page. This is a really good story from start to finish, a quick read and very well written……I almost always figure out who done it, but I didn’t this time. I highly recommend this story.
Short but cute. Fast paced, like suspense books ought to be. It explores a second chance relationship between Callen and Ten in Dani Pettrey’s fun and engaging signature writing style.
Well written story about forgiveness, second chances, and suspense. He broke her heart years ago, but the love never died. Good clean suspense book.
